Supporting Hunter Rugby

Since its foundation in 1997, The Hawthorne Club has provided more than $520,000 to the Rugby community in Newcastle and the Hunter region.

In 2012, the Club introduced the Hawthorne Club Rugby Support Program. The program aims to increase Rugby activities for Juniors, increase Club support and further work with Australian Rugby Union and the Hunter Academy of Sport.

Each year the Club holds four major events for its members and guests. These events combine fundraising activities with a line-up of international and national guest speakers.
